Kaibeto is a small unincorporated community located in the western part of the Navajo Nation in northern Arizona, USA. It is situated in Coconino county and is approximately 75 miles northeast of Flagstaff. The community is home to about 1,500 residents who are predominantly Navajo. The Kaibeto region has many natural attractions, including the Kaibeto Creek, which flows through the community, and the nearby Navajo Sandstone formations, which offer a scenic backdrop for hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. The traditional Navajo way of life plays a significant role in the community, with many residents engaged in livestock grazing, farming, and other traditional activities. The community also has schools, a health center, and a community center where residents can gather for social and cultural events.
